TWO-DAY EXCURSION TO OHRID
11/12.09.2010

FIRST DAY – Skopje – Ohrid / 11 September 2010

1. Meeting of the group at the parking in front of the hotel “Holiday Inn”,
2. Checking of the passengers,
3. Departure at 2:00 p.m.
4. Short break for lunch (lunch packet) at the mountain passage “Straza”,
5. Arrival in Ohrid in the afternoon hours,
6. Sightseeing of the town and its cultural and historical monuments:

• visit to the church Mother of God Peribleptos, St Clement,
• the ancient theatre – an archaeological site,
• early Christian basilica on “Plaoshnik” - an archaeological site,
• the cathedral church of “St. Sofia”,
• the old town

7. Accommodation in a hotel and supper

SECOND DAY – Ohrid – St. Naum – Skopje / 12 September 2010

1. Breakfast at 07:30,
2. Meeting of the group in front of the hotel and departure for the monastery estate “St. Naum” at 08:30. It takes approximately 40 minutes to get there. The monastery is situated on the most southern point of Ohrid Lake,
3. Visit to the monastery church dedicated to the archangels Gavril and Michael. On the east side of the monastery, the abundant springs of the river Crni Drim are bursting and leave an impressive sight of the clear and cold water. Small islands with exuberant vegetation are there and one can see them sailing by boat.
4. Departure to Skopje.

The cost of this arrangement is 60 EUR. It also includes the following:
